The Fantasy Football Almanac RANKINGS Last Updated On September 1st, 2023 and includes analysis on DeAndre Hopkins signing with the Titans!

Have you noticed most 2023 Fantasy Football Magazines and Fantasy Football Books tend to recycle the same information, the same sleepers and the same tiers? This is because they’re all using the same information: last year’s stats!

A few years ago, I was like everyone else. I scoured the Internet and Fantasy Football publications searching for any advantage. I found myself reading 10-15 different books that all wound up telling me the same thing. Making things worse – they were telling all of my competition as well. That’s when “sleeper” picks become overhyped and over drafted.

To avoid draft day misses, I knew I had to dig into the data. I knew I had to watch film and after a while, I came to realize Fantasy Football success comes from knowing the offensive schemes and how a player’s talents will be used in an offense. This is why the Fantasy Football Almanac projects players based on scheme fit, not past performance.

Think about this. If all my Fantasy Football Almanac and Draft Guide did was tell you about one undervalued player who is so far forgotten you could draft him and start him in the last round, would it be worth it?

Or if all this Fantasy Football Almanac and Draft Guide did was keep you from using your draft day picks on season-long busts?

This is more than a fantasy football magazine. It’s a fantasy football scouting agency. We blend next-gen sports analytics with good old fashion film study. I literally watch every single preseason game in order to properly calibrate this guide’s rankings throughout the offseason. That’s right, The Fantasy Football Almanac and Draft Guide comes with FREE updates. You don’t have to pay $5 a month to access them. If you buy the book, we have you covered.

A Must read Fantasy Football Magazine
I have tried many different Fantasy Football to prepare for each upcoming season and although I was satisfied with many of them this almanac by Sean Ryan is the most complete fantasy football magazine that is out there. Not only do you get an extensive view of additions and losses of each team but you get a great narrative for each team under each conference. You get periodic updates letting you know about injuries and players to grab off the waiver wire in a personal email from Sean or his staff. He even offers you his personal email if you have questions about your lineup or possible trades. Of course you must make the final decision but he does give you an honest and expedient reply to your question in your email You will not find anyone who does as much research as Sean in preparing for his Almanac. On top of all this you get this extensive, comprehensive insight for the upcoming season for a very reasonable price. If you haven’t tried this Almanac you are doing yourself a disservice. It is a must read to prepare for the season.

    No Audibles Needed
For another Fantasy Football Season, Sean Ryan and his Fantasy Football Almanac 2023 has struck pay dirt! The Almanac each year continues to produce solid as well as bold and creative information for your fantasy team, assuming of course you want to win your league. Why should you try to figure out all the nuances of the NFL much less fantasy when Sean has done all the work for you? Who cares about much less writes about coaching and system changes and how they impact fantasy? Who provides over 390 player writeups along with a three-year statistical progression? Who even knows about much less implements Fantasy Football Points Above Value? Sean Ryan does all this and so much more! The only negative about the Almanac is that it is so good but you can’t recommend it to anyone in your league. (You don’t want them to have the same advantage you have do you?) The Fantasy Football Almanac is the onlysource you need for your draft day as well as during your fantasy season, you won’t need any audibles!

You want to do better in you league. Get this almanac!
I’ve used this almanac the last 2 seasons. Both I placed in top 3. The tier system is easy to use and helps you draft a good team . I highly recommend this book. Sean the author also sends updates starting in the preseason all the way to season end. Which is very helpful. He even will answer your questions via email personally. You want to be a contender this year , then get this almanac!

    GREAT FANTASY REFERENCE
I like this magazine as a reference of past results and the prediction and evaluation of each team and player for this year.

Look no further for a Fantasy Football Magazine
The Fantasy Football Almanac is a one stop shopping option for all Fantasy Football folks. Sean and teams’ extensive analysis, along with metrics and advice provide all of the information needed to prepare for your draft and the season. In addition to the above, you receive free updates throughout the year which allow the information being used to remain fresh and more importantly current. And to top it all off, Seans white glove service for reading and replying to your emails personally makes this a one-of-a-kind product. Highly recommended and never disappoints.

    Awesome resource
Probably the most detailed guide I have ever used for fantasy sports. I’ve been in the same league for over a decade now and was a perpetual bottom feeder. Using this book (and some shrewd moves as a GM) I finally won my league last year. I got this year’s version recently and it looks just as good, if not better. Looking forward to defending my title!

Useful information but fell short of my expectations
This book is well worth the asking price. It feels a void in the fantasy football marketplace between basic magazine and online content. For those of you familiar with the Baseball Forecaster, it is about the same size and feel. However, it is not similar in any other way. It does have useful information and Sean Ryan is passionate and knowledgeable. I will probably purchase this book each year as a supplemental resource, but not my main resource. My main issue is it does not deliver on it’s promise to deliver unique content beyond what you will find in most fantasy magazines. When explaining Points Above Replacement (PAR) the author claims to use 1. Coaching Philosophy and Scheme, 2. Historical Performance, 3. New Competition, 4. (most importantly) their individual match ups over the course of the season. He uses these criteria to create unique projections that provide him with his PAR score. Problem 1 – the “projections” he uses are not provided anywhere in the Almanac; Problem 2 – He does not provide a breakdown of Coaching Philosophy and Scheme for each team. He does talk about coaching changes for each team and how that might change things…but so do most magazines. I was expecting detailed breakdowns on schemes for every team with statistics to back it up. A simple chart of teams run pass tendencies would have been nice. Honestly, focusing on the team’s philosophy and schemes would have set this book apart from other fantasy publications. There are a few mistakes that got through the final proofreading, but they do not affect the content. Bottom line; the author’s analysis is solid and the content is valuable BUT it doesn’t really offer anything different from most fantasy football sources. The book is worth a purchase.

    SUPER Thorough!
The amount of research put into this almanac is ridiculous! I’ve been relying on Sean and Eric to do the heavy lifting for me for the past two years now, and haven’t been disappointed. I like playing different formats of fantasy football, and they break down rankings for the different types of leagues. NOT TO MENTION THE UPDATES AND TOOLS! This is one guide I’m not afraid to purchase early and yearly. Thanks guys!

I’ve been in fantasy pools for over 40 years. If you’re planning to win your pool and not just donate then this book is always a must! This guide is superior to the others and is my go to for football. It’s informative, has accurate opinions and projections. Always well written and organized. As a bonus the free updates are better then any tips you’ll find on the internet for weekly waiver pickups. You will not be disappointed!

This is my third year purchasing Sean Ryan’s Fantasy Football Almanac. Anyone who participates in fantasy football should buy this book. Not only do you get valuable game changing information you continue to get updates throughout the year. Sean and his partner in crime Eric go above and beyond in their research. I will never turn to another book/magazine/webpage. Fantasy football Almanac for life!
